Polymount are pleased to announce the installation of our 1001st Polymount Plate Cleaner machine at Saint-Andre-Plastique of Saint Andre de l’Epine, in the department of Normandy, France. Jean-Michel LEVOY, Technical Director at SAP, said that he decided to buy the PPC XL2T due it’s capacity to wash and dry a large number of flexographic printing plates in one cycle and for the overall build quality of the machine.
Saint-Andre-Plastique manufactures and supply packaging for the food industry They are a forward-thinking and growing company with ISO 9001 and BRC certifications. Their extrusion facility manufactures both mono layer and co-extruded films and they have the capacity to print flexo in up to 8 colours +1. The pre-press department can create designs and manufacture plates on site, up to 4000 dpi and is ESKO certified. They also offer a hot micro-perforation and macro-perforation on a large range of bags that they produce in-house. Around 22% of their production is destined for export.
The company was founded in 1973 and have a workforce of 160 personnel. They are currently nearing the end of a large expansion project.
